The Tyne & Wear Integrated Transport Authority is looking to improve wayfaring signage between public transport locations such as Metro stations and bus interchanges. For the first time this will include installing signs for pedestrian and cyclists that will direct them through the Tyne Pedestrian and Cyclist Tunnels. The tunnels will also be featured on the Tyne & Wear Metro map.
