Operational Update: Please note a change to tomorrow’s schedule (Tuesday 2nd December). The North Inclined lift will be out of service from 08:30 until late afternoon. The other lifts will remain in service and therefore the tunnels remain open. We apologise for the short-notice change and thank you for your patience while essential work takes place.

Operational update: The Tyne Pedestrian & Cyclist Tunnel has reopened as planned, though engineering work will continue on the North Inclined lift today. The South Inclined lift and both vertical lifts are operating. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank Tunnel users for their understanding.
