1.1 The North East Combined Authority is providing the Web Site on an “as is” basis and makes no representations or warranties of any kind with respect to the Web Site or its contents and disclaims all such representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, suitability or compatibility for any purpose of the information and related graphics published in the Web Site. The information contained in the Web Site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. All liability of the North East Combined Authority however arising for any such accuracies or errors is expressly excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.

1.2 The North East Combined Authority does not guarantee or represent that access to the Web Site will be uninterrupted.

1.3 The North East Combined Authority expressly disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage occasioned from the use or inability to use the Web Site, whether directly or indirectly resulting from inaccuracies, defects, viruses, errors whether typographical or otherwise, omissions, out of date information or otherwise.

1.4 Accessing the Web Site and downloading material from it is done entirely at the User’s own risk. The User will be entirely responsible for any resulting damage to software or computer systems and/or any resulting loss of data even if the North East Combined Authority has been advised of the possibility of such damage.

2. Links

2.1 The Web Site may contain links to other web sites over which the North East Combined Authority has no control. Such links are supplied solely for the convenience of the Users. The North East Combined Authority is not responsible for the contents or reliability of the linked web sites and does not necessarily endorse the views expressed within them or the organisation or persons providing them. The North East Combined Authority does not guarantee that these links will work all of the time and it has no control over the availability of the linked pages.

2.2 Providers of other web sites may place text-based links to pages on the Web Site without seeking the prior permission of the North East Combined Authority, but any such links must not open the Web Site pages into frames within another web site. Pages from the Web Site must be loaded into the User’s entire browser window. The use of the New Tyne Crossing logo or the logos of any associated or subsidiary organisations must not be used for promotional or linking purposes unless prior approval in writing has been given. 3. Jurisdiction

These Terms will be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes between a User and the North East Combined Authority arising out of the access or use of the Web Site. Omission by the North East Combined Authority to exercise any right under these Terms will not constitute a waiver of such right unless expressly stated by the North East Combined Authority in writing.
